Job description:
Support Workers   Both experienced and trainee Support and Care Workers required for regular work in supported living environments and day care settings. You will be supporting people with old age, dementia, learning disabilities, mental health, challenging behaviours, addictions and adolescents with challenging behaviour. Duties will include: * Assist service users with their personal care needs and help provide health supervision and attention through direct care as needed * Dietary and nutritional requirements of the service user * Working in a multi-disciplinary team whilst using your own initiative * Ensuring accurate record keeping at all times * Activities and social visits  * To comply with guidelines and policies at all times * Providing assistance with finances and other paper work * To contribute to the efficient running of the home and creation of an atmosphere conductive to the best interest of the service users * To encourage service users to remain as independent as possible * To carry out other tasks that may reasonably be assigned to you by senior staff The suitable candidate will possess the following attributes: * Self-motivated * Organised * Adaptable * Caring * Sensitive to the needs of others * An active team player but also able to work on own initiative * Good communicator * Empathetic This is a temporary position For more details please call Rob Smith on 01438 765704
