Job description:
Accounts Payable Clerk, initially for a 12 month fixed term contract. Our client, a large manufacturing and distribution firm within Leicestershire require an experienced Accounts Payable clerk to join their highly professional and exceptionally busy team. This is not just a standard AP role as these members of staff will be team players, not just employees. Duties will include, working in a small team, responsible for the receipt and posting to the purchase ledger of all invoices on a daily basis. You will liaise with suppliers, resolve queries and ensure prompt payment and carry out supplier statement reconciliation, send out remittance advices and Self-Bill invoices.. You will ideally possess 2-3 years previous purchase ledger experience ideally gained in a high volume environment. Candidates should possess speed and accuracy and be able to work to deadlines. SAP knowledge would also be beneficial but not essential. Are you an experienced Accounts Payable clerk looking for a long term role with a prestigious firm within Leicestershire?
