Solution Architect / London / 6 months / Change Programme / £500-£600 Spring Technology is recruiting for a leading organisation based in London for an experienced and skilled Solution Architect to work on a complex change programme. This is an initial 6 month project with a strong possibility of extension. The Solution Architect is accountable for defining solutions architectures for complex Change projects, Responsibilities include: * Defining and articulating complex solutions for large scale projects, including business, application, data and infrastructure impacts along with testing and implementation considerations * Developing pragmatic, commercially feasible architectures, considering all functional as well as non-functional requirements * Leading a multi-disciplinary team of application, data and infrastructure professionals to implement the architecture, Troubleshoot complex and intermittent problems to tight time frames while under pressure * Liaising with both 3rd party vendors and off shore teams Skills Required: Proven ability to develop, and see through to implementation and operation, commercially feasible Solution Architectures for complex projects, ideally using a best practice framework using enterprise tools. * SOA, BPM, Webservices, Messaging, XML Schemas ,XSLT, B2B * Java Enterprise Edition (JSF, JAXB, EJB, JMX, JAX-WS) * Mainframe integration * Enterprise ETL solutions (eg Business Objects Data Integrator, Cognos, Informatica) * UML and OOAD * Ability to understand Business, functional requirements and non-functional requirements and transform them into a Solution Architecture * Sun Solaris 10 * Oracle Database 11g * Enterprise document management solutions * Oracle/Sun OpenSSO, Directory Server Enterprise Edition (DSEE),...
