Job description:
We are currently looking for care assistants in several areas in Leicester (Frolesworth, Sharnford, Primethorpe, Dunton Bassett, Claybrooke Magna). You will be providing one-to-one care for the elderly or people with physical or learning disabilities, in their homes, to help promote independence and dignity. The role will consist of providing domestic duties and/or assisting and supporting with personal care. When required, you may be needed to accompany clients on community based activities. Experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided. You must have good communication skills so you can interact with clients and their families in a professional and warm manner. You will need to be a car driver with regular access to a vehicle. You will need to be flexible for home calls including: short calls, mornings, lunches, evenings and weekend work. Competitive rates of pay, dependent on the level of the clients care that is required and your level of experience. Uniform and consumables (gloves, aprons, etc.) are provided.
