We are seeking a Safer Neighbourhoods Assistant to provide administrative support to the Safer Neighbourhoods Team and Response Team Services. You will be responsible for the delivery of customer services in an efficient, effective and caring manner to internal, and external customers and partner agencies. You will co-ordinate and deploy victim support equipment for the safety and well being of victims. You will be responsible for monitoring appropriate service level agreements with partner agencies. You will process and monitor restricted access and formal disclosures requests. You will ensure the effective management of systems to achieve the smooth operations of the safer neighbourhoods and Security Services. Additionally you will assist with tenancy enforcement and sustainment activities and you will work closely with the Customer and Community Engagement Team to encourage customers to want to work with us and to ensure feedback is used to improve and develop our services. The successful candidate will have basic knowledge of social housing organisations and an understanding of roles. Experience of dealing with challenging and vulnerable customers and the ability to communicate clearly, in plain English both verbally and in writing is essential. You will also have IT skills in order to input and retrieve data in order to produce statistical information and analysis. A higher level education (post A level) or equivalent through relevant training/experience and a relevant qualification e.g. NVQ level 3 would be an advantage however is not an essential requirement.
