THE OPPORTUNITY:. Macildowie Marketing are currently working with an instantly recognisable brand name to help them recruit an Onlien Trading Manager to be based from their Head Office in Northampton. This is a great opportunity for somebody, who wants a wide ranging role in this area. The Online Trading Manager will have the opportunity to make the role their own, taking full ownership of the retail platform and ensuring continuous growth of the department. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:. The Online Trading Manager will ultimately be responsible for driving growth, shopper & customer connection, loyalty & profitability through use of digital sales channels and media across Grocery digital channels and some Wholesale customers. This will involve leading the development of online JBP's in partnership with the sales team and being the expert in eCommerce for the Grocery/wholesale customers, which is a customer facing role. You will also be accountable for tailoring, integrating and executing digital plans with customers based on UK business objectives, measuring results and building local digital capability. Alongside your local focus you will also be responsible for developing global insights on shopper/consumer and customer drivers within the eCommerce Channel for a main category. Digital shopper marketing (UK). -Accountable for online sales growth, share and ROI of activity in UK. -Tailoring plans by chosen customer to meet business objectives - range & promos, navigation, display, featured space & activation for Grocers / wholesale. -Managing customer online relationships -customer partnerships, negotiate access to data, retailer assets (e.g. downloads), featured space etc. -Executing digital pilots/programmes with customers in collaboration with shopper marketing & customer teams. Digital Capabilities. -Managing high standards of content across Pure Play, Grocer and some Wholesale websites using content management and quality auditing tools. -Identifying new opportunities to drive sales through test and learn and developments in functionality. -Implementing 'Brilliant Basics' across digital retail channels. -Working cross functionally with Sales and Marketing teams to align investment and activity. Digital Analytics. -Responsible for measurement and reporting of digital activity across Grocer and Wholesale channels. -Measurement and analysis of any test and learn activity including recommendations on roll-out. EXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:. The successful candidate will have significant Digital experience, ideally within an FMCG environment focussed on the growth of eCommerce channels. You will have proven skills in driving up eCommerce performance including repeat visit and average basket sizes. You will have strong analytical, presentation and negotiation skills and have a true passion for the digital space.
