We are the Alton Towers Resort and we are part of the magical Merlin Entertainments! We are currently recruiting for Chef de Parties to join us. Our roles are based in either one of our fanastical Hotels, or within the team in our extremely exciting new restaurant for 2016, the Rollercoaster Restaurant. In these roles you could be involved right from the start in a brand new restaurant for not only the Resort, but the UK. Alternatively, you could work as part of a large brigade in either of our exciting Hotels. You’ll manage and supervise the team and help to develop our menus. Rising to the challenge, you’ll make the Chef de Partie role your own and provide excellent support to the senior Chefs. You’ll: Help recruit, train and manage kitchen staff Make sure that equipment and mise en places are ready to go before each service Ensure health and safety procedures are strictly followed Oversee the daily organisation of the kitchen Help minimise waste, whilst maximising profit levels Strive to exceed our customers’ expectations We’re looking for the following skills and experience: A strong background in the catering industry or experience in a similar role Comfortable conducting training Excellent interpersonal skills A professional approach to your work A sense of fun. The roles are full time, permanent, averaging 40 hours per week and will include weekends and bank holidays as required.
