Are you currently looking for a new challenging environment to develop you career further? If so I am currently recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer for a medium sized Building Services consultancy for a regional office based in the north of Birmingham close to Fort Dunlop. Having met with the Director of the business on a number of occasions he has highlighted a need to develop the current team due to an influx of large projects and high profile clients. At this time their main focus would be to bring in an experienced engineer to sit within their product delivery team and oversea younger engineers within the team. The current MEP team consists of 15 engineers split across Mechanical, Electrical and Technician disciplines. Within the Birmingham office their project exposure is spread across numerous Building services sectors such as Commercial, Residential and Educational sectors. As previously mentioned they are working with high profile clients and have regular repeat work due to the high quality of work produced. The role will see you as a senior engineer within the mechanical team, working alongside the principal across a number of projects within the sectors previously mentioned. The person they are looking for will ideally come from within a consulting background and have experience as an engineer within Building Services. However with this in mind they would also consider someone from a contracting background also. You should be fully proficient working with software such as Hevacomp across high profile projects. The business are looking at a personality fit as much as existing titles and levels of experience and are willing to take the chance on someone who could demonstrate real passion and ambition.
